Portwood Family Session ~ Myriad Gardens | Oklahoma Family Photographer

The Myriad Gardens is one of my favorite locations in Oklahoma City for lifestyle family sessions. There’s so much to do there and lots of different options for backdrops. The fall foliage colors are gorgeous and there’s plenty of beautiful natural elements to work with. If it’s a one hour session, I like to take families in a loop around the gardens and end at the playground with kids. It’s sort of the reward at the end of the session which provides a little motivation for the children ;)

I’ve been photographing the Portwood family for several years now and it’s been so awesome to watch their family expand to 7, yes I said 7, kids! Party of 9 say what?! I love it! You can feel the love and close connection in this family right away and I always enjoy spending time with them during our sessions.
